Scope of Work

1.1 Maricopa County (County) is requesting technology network integration services within County owned or leased facilities. Expected outcomes include technology that is integrated with existing County technology infrastructure and systems, completed per best practices, and that adheres to established technology standards as specified by County Office of Enterprise Technology (OET).

1.2 The type of projects may include, but are not limited to, new construction, remodel, additions and expansions, or other network integrations as necessary. The involved buildings may include space occupied by the public, employees, justice and law enforcement personnel, or inmates.

1.3 The technology involved may include, but is not limited to, converged voice/data network infrastructure, local and wide area networks, wireless network services, telephony, unified communications, video conferencing, outside cable plant, cabling distribution system, building paging, closed circuit television, building control systems, physical security system resources, surveillance, and specialized systems that, as example only, support Judicial Branch operations within courtrooms.

1.4 The County’s existing contract, Serial #180156-RFP will be cancelled upon award of this contract.

1.5 Respondents to this solicitation shall identify a firm, fixed cost rate for fully burdened hourly rates for work within the scope of this contract. Respondents will also respond with an hourly rate for work outside the scope of this contract.

1.6 Contractor’s primary point of contact for this contract will be the Facilities Management Department (FMD). Other County departments may use this contract, however FMD is not responsible for payments for work performed under the direction of other County departments.

1.7 Other governmental entities under agreement with the County may have access to services provided hereunder (see also Sections 3.15 and 3.16 below).

1.8 The County reserves the right to add additional contractors, at the County’s sole discretion, in cases where the currently listed contractors are of an insufficient number or skill set to satisfy the County’s needs or to ensure adequate competition on any project or task order work.

1.9 The County reserves the right to award this contract to multiple, but no more than three, contractors. The County reserves the right to award in whole or in part, by item or group of items, by section or geographic area, or make multiple awards, where such action serves the County’s best interest.
