The Government requires software life cycle maintenance for an Organizational Messaging Services (OMS) National Gateway Center (NGC) support system – the OMS Asset Distribution Systems (OADS). Software life cycle maintenance includes software maintenance, database updates, testing, security compliance engineering, system administration, and operational support. The requirement also includes network administration and security engineering for the OMS Sustainment Facility (OSF) network, DISA office networks, and all DISA contractors’ office networks, which are maintained on a separate and distinct subnet. The OADS and NGCDetrick networks must be maintained at the DISA 99.9% availability management threshold in support of the Warfighter and security requirements necessary to maintain operational accreditation.
