SEPTA is the sixth largest transportation Authority in the country. The SEPTA Information Technology Department has the opportunity to work with the organization in the goal of modernization of systems and building a secure technical infrastructure for the organization, external customers, and stakeholders. To obtain this goal, the consultant will work with the SEPTA IT Leadership in the support and development of the strategies and plans to achieve the goals for the organization
The primary objective of this scope is to assist the SEPTA IT Department in a security services partnership. This will be a task order-based contract where projects and tasks are identified by SEPTA through scope of services and task order approval. The consultant will provide the needed personnel and costs related to the project. This includes but not limited to leadership support for short term and long-term cyber security initiatives including vulnerability management, penetration testing, tabletop exercises, and internal phishing campaigns as well as other security related tasks. This will be a cyber security services contract with the expectation to provide a suite of security services from leadership support and management strategies, protection and security strategies, vendor risk management, and internal security exercises to gauge the strength of security knowledge within the organization. SEPTA seeks a qualified security consultant firm to assist and support the goals of cyber security for the organization.
