The objective of this work effort is to support NREL in the renewal efforts of EnergyPlus, and to continue the development, maintenance, user support and outreach activities related to the EnergyPlus whole-building energy simulation tool.
The primary objective of this work is to provide software development assistance to enhance the free and open source EnergyPlus whole-building energy simulation engine, available under a flexible license (https://github.com/NREL/EnergyPlus/blob/develop/LICENSE.txt).
The Subcontractor will be an integral part of the EnergyPlus Development Team (EPDT) and will perform the activities described in the following scope of work, by following modern software engineering practices based on the Agile development process.
