The EBS Portfolio requires continued support for Configuration Management (CM); Systems Engineering (SE); Project Management (PM); and Lifecycle Program Support Services. This support will assist EBS in pre and post Milestone support.
The DLA Enterprise Business System (EBS) Portfolio of Programs is in the process of replacing aging mission-critical legacy business systems with a highly integrated and interoperable Enterprise Business System (EBS). It is through these modernization initiatives that EBS desires to capitalize on the efficiencies offered by the Commercial-off-the-shelve software technologies and best industry practices.
As the EBS Portfolio continues its modernization program, it has begun centralizing the management of many of its emerging business system IT investments within the EBS Portfolio structure.
As these modernization initiatives transition to production support, the EBS Portfolio Manager will continue to require support to the production support community to leverage knowledge and documentation from its various projects and programs as well as support capability enhancements such as automated tools to support day-to-day operations.
